Republican Wes Wilmot is a 5th generation Nebraskan, husband, father, and farmer from rural Beaver City. Wes and his wife, Kathy, have three adult children who have blessed them with 10 grandchildren.

Wilmot spent 35 years as a cellular engineer in the wireless communications field. He's spent decades working as a cattle rancher and farm operator on the family farm.

Wes has spent decades serving the community and fighting for conservative values. He serves as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with the Beaver City EMS, a trustee of Beaver City Free Methodist Church, co-captain of the Wreaths Across America with the Beaver City American Legion, and is the Vice Chairman of the Furnas County Republican Party.

Wilmot previously served as an ESU 11 board member, Sunday school superintendent, AWANA commander, and 4-H Shooting Sports instructor. He is a lifetime member of the NRA and Nebraska Farm Bureau.
